Florida Highway Patrol arrested Lauren Riley, 41, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday after a traffic stop. The officers said they found her in possession of a labeled bag with "Bag of Drugs" written on it. Officers did not catch Riley driving, but saw her rummaging around in her vehicle. A trooper pulled her over and noticed possible drug paraphernalia in the car, specifically used foil and a straw. Riley was initally arrested for an open container in the car, and according to authorities Riley was under the influence of alcohol when she was arrested.
Riley was asked to step out of the car so the officers could search for any other drug-related items. They were surprised to find the "Bag of Drugs" stashed in Riley's purse.She is facing charges for possession of the listed drugs, alongside possession of drug paraphernalia. Riley faces a minimum of seven charges, based on the affidavit.
