The unprovoked attack left the 21-year-old victim with a nasty head injury
The 21-year-old woman was walking along Station Road Boulevard at around 8pm last night, April 1, when the group began to verbally abuse her, Merseyside Police said. One of the men used an unknown object to strike the woman on the head, leaving her with a "nasty" wound. They then turned around and walked back towards the station.
“The assault has left her with a nasty head injury and we are in the early stages of investigating this incident to find the people responsible. “If you were in the area and witnessed this incident, please get in touch. If you live in the area or were driving past at the time, please review your CCTV and dashcam footage in case you captured anything that would help our ongoing enquiries.”
