An Akron Municipal Court judge ruled Thursday morning that one of the two siblings charged in the Akron shooting death of a 24-year-old woman will be held on a $1 million bond.
AKRON, Ohio -
25-year-old Corvette Pope, who was arrested July 30 in connection to the death of Paige Calich, faces a charge of aggravated murder, an unclassified felony. Corvette’s brother, 19-year-old Denzel Pope, remains on the loose. The Akron Police Department previously said he is “armed and dangerous”.Officers found Calich at a home on Socrates Place around 12:26 p.m. Sunday, July 28, with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to previous information. She died from her wounds at the hospital.
