A woman has been charged with robbery offences as police investigate the events leading up to a crash that killed a Queensland grandmother. Rosemary Franzidis, 69, died after a high-impact collision with a 16-year-old in an allegedly stolen Audi at Murrumba Downs, north of Brisbane , on Thursday. The boy remains before the courts after being charged with manslaughter, armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle as well as two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

Police believe the 35-year-old attempted to steal a car in Newport on November 7 about 7.45am, threatening the female driver with what appeared to be a gun. The woman allegedly assaulted the driver before bystanders intervened and she fled in the stolen Barina. Police say about 15 minutes later, occupants inside the Barina allegedly threatened another woman with a gun and tried to steal a handbag before fleeing. At 9.
