Kaylee Muthart had recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was suffering from a mental breakdown.
A woman who blinded herself clawed out her own eyeballs during a severe hallucination which made her believe everyone would die.
But one year later, she began heavily drinking and smoking cannabis. She had avoided class A drugs but when she was 19, she experienced a "strange high", the Mirror reports. "On the verge of our breakup, I had a mental breakdown. Months later, in February 2018, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It made sense, since when I felt happy, I felt super happy, and when I felt down, I felt deeply depressed. The turbulence left me especially susceptible to drug abuse, "
Kaylee's screams alerted worshippers at a church in Anderson but she fought them off as they tried to help. A pastor said he saw her squeezing her own eyeballs in her hands while they were still attached to her head.
