A woman was left ‘shocked’ after discovering her husband doesn’t wash two parts of his body in the shower.
Despite being married, the revelation only came to light by accident and the women said she was left wondering how she didn’t already know it about her partner. Sharing her discovery on Mumsnet’s Am I Being Unreasonable thread, the woman asked others for their opinions and found it was more common than usual.
In her post, the woman said she was ‘shocked’ to find her husband ‘doesn’t wash his legs and feet in the shower’. She wrote: “Had to use the toilet while DH [dear husband] was in the shower this morning and noticed that he doesn’t actually wash his legs or feet.
While many said they were more shocked that she’d used the toilet while her husband was in the shower, others shared their views on her discovery. One person said: “You're married so I'm going to assume you've known each other for some time and you've been up close and personal with his legs in that time. You haven't noticed a problem until now so clearly it's sufficient.”It then became clear that the woman’s husband was not alone when it came to his shower habits.
A third person wrote: “I have never washed my feet with the exception of when I have been out in flip flops and they are visibly dirty. It's never occurred to me to wash them otherwise.” And a fourth said: “With legs, I agree that the soapy water trickles down that way anyway. I do wash my feet though, in between my toes especially.”
