Woman dumps human faeces and waste all over Sir Captain Tom's memorial

A protester has poured human waste over a Sir Captain Tom Moore memorial as part of a campaign to end the use of private jets in the UK.

Ahead of his 100th birthday, Captain Tom, who was born in Keighley, began to walk 100 laps of his garden for NHS Charities Together. By the time he turned 100, he had raised £32.79 million.A video has now been shared on social media which shows Maddie, 21, defacing the statue for End UK Private Jets on September 30. The group is protesting against luxurious and unnecessary carbon emissions, focusing on the use of private jets in the UK, DerbyshireLive reports.

"I was studying to become a doctor because I believe in taking care of people.

The act was met with contempt from many. One person, who claims to have gifted the statue to Thistley Meadow, said they would report the act to the police.
