Police and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service were on the scene
West Yorkshire Police were called to the Leeds Building Society in Sovereign Street, Leeds, at 11.46pm today by Yorkshire Ambulance Service. There, a woman had been injured after falling from the building. She was rushed to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.The building was evacuated of its staff and customers. Police have since confirmed the woman's injuries are not life-threatening. They also say there were no suspicious circumstances.
West Yorkshire Police said: "At 11.46am today, police were contacted by the ambulance service who had been called to an office building in Sovereign Street, Leeds, where a woman had been injured in a fall from height. "She was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to injuries that were later confirmed as serious but not life threatening. There were no suspicious circumstances."
