Alisha Oakley was already on a suspended sentence for stabbing a man while he was having sex
A woman who held a knife to her mum's throat after a cocaine binge in Darwen has been jailed for two years and eight months.
Oakley, who had been taking cocaine, pressed a knife against her mum's throat. As her mum tried to defend herself, the knife struck her thumb causing a cut which bled for some time, Preston Crown Court heard. Oakley left the house and returned with bandages and a plaster to dress the wound, before leaving the home. Two days later she returned. She threw a rock at the front door, causing damage and the police were called.
Judge Richard Archer, sentencing, said: "It was a matter of a few weeks after you were last before this court for breaching your suspended sentence that you threatened your mother with a knife."
