A pedestrian was struck by a car on South Parade in Speke, resulting in serious leg injuries. A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving.
A woman in her 30s sustained serious leg injuries after being struck by a car. Emergency services responded at 10:30 am yesterday (Wednesday, December 18) following reports of a collision between a female pedestrian and a Renault Austral on South Parade in Speke . The woman was transported to the hospital but has since been released. A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving and drug driving.
She was released under investigation pending further inquiries. Merseyside Police is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information, including dashcam footage, to contact them
