A woman subjected her ‘seriously ill mother’ to a ‘vicious and barbaric’ beating in her own home, a court has heard.
Nicola Carlisle from Gorseinon was sentenced to two years for GBH following an hour-long assault on her mother The prosecutor said Carlisle started punching her mother and pulling her hair, which marked ‘the start of a vicious attack’ that lasted for ‘an hour’ as the defendant repeatedly ‘punched her to the head, face, and body, pulling her hair, and biting her’.She then jumped on her victim causing her to fall to the floor and hit her head as she did so.
