Nicola Mooney asked her partner to buy her a bottle of wine from a local newsagents before using it as a weapon in a brutal attack on shopper John Henry Sands
After exiting the shop, the violent thug smashed the bottle on the floor and stabbed Mr Hands in the middle of the street.Mooney fled the area with her girlfriend following the attack last September, leaving shocked witnesses to tend to the victim and contact emergency services for help. ‘I felt the weight of my arm drop and the blood just started spurting out my body and I knew something was wrong.‘As she stabbed me we sort of made eye contact and I could see the shock in her face and then she just turned and ran.
