Police in Luton are investigating a murder after a 46-year-old woman died and another woman was seriously injured following an altercation at a house. Detectives are searching for a man in his 20s seen leaving the scene on a black and red electric scooter.
Police have launched a murder investigation after one woman was killed and another was seriously injured following 'an altercation' in a house.
Detective Inspector Adam Bridges said: 'This horrendous incident, which is believed to be targeted, has sadly resulted in one woman losing her life and another sustaining serious injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening. 'We have also increased our police presence at the property and surrounding area as part of our investigation and to help with public reassurance.'
One man, who only moved into the street two days ago, described the murder as a horrible thing to have happened.
