A woman who is fed up with drivers blocking her driveway is documenting her war with bad parkers
A woman fed up with drivers constantly blocking her driveway has taken to documenting her war with bad parkers on TikTok. Sibongile Mude posts regular videos filmed from her window showing cars parked across her drive, which often includes leaving angry notes on their windscreens - or even confronting the drivers when they return.
A note from another clip states: "You have parked in front of my driveway. I need to park MY CAR", reported The Mirror. Sometimes, Sibongile or a housemate put multiple notes on the vehicle or even confront the drivers when they return.While they have sometimes apologised, others are less remorseful - with one woman saying her parking isn't "a big deal" during an exchange caught on camera.
Sibongile claimed some of them were blocking her in an hour or more. She wrote in a comment: "It's annoying because you guys only see 30 seconds, but some of these guys park for one to two hours, and we need in and out of our driveway quite often." A second commented: "Can't you put some cones down to stop people parking there?" Another suggested: "Better put a big sign telling if they park there they car will be taken away". Someone else offered: "Could you maybe paint the curb so it pops out to the drivers? Just a suggestion".
