A woman who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer says she was attacked by two men because of her sexuality.
She is now recovering at home in Ceredigion, Wales, where she was walking her dog on Friday when the attack happened. Even before her cancer diagnosis, Heulwen had barely left the house in three years due to anxiety and panic attacks. She said that after Friday’s attack she will never walk in that area again.After punching and kicking her on the ground, the attackers tried to take Heulwen’s phone.
