Woman raped by boyfriend as she slept snared him by secretly taping his confession to sick attack
A WOMAN who was raped by a man she was dating saw him jailed for four years after she secretly recorded him confessing to the crime.
Jade, who has bravely waived her right to anonymity to speak out about the crime, wasn't sure at first if the police would class the assault as rape because she'd been in the early stages of a relationship with the 23-year-old in Newcastle. Jade can be heard saying: "I don't know if it's okay that you did it in my sleep. I don't know if it's okay because we're together. I don't know, I really don't know.""What the f*** did you do then?" Jade asks and Patton says: "You know what I did."
"When I woke up and my clothes were off I realised straight away he'd had sex with me while I'd been asleep.Jade recorded Patton on her phone while she sat in the back of the car he was driving, before taking the evidence to a police station.
