At 10:30 p.m. July 5, a woman reported that young people were fishing in a pond near her home at the Acacia Metropark Reservation. When she told them they were on private property, one of those fishing answered, “Don’t be surprised if you get bombed tonight.”
Also, at 1:35 p.m. July 6, the woman reported that, again, youngsters were fishing in the pond and threatened to assault her husband.At 4:35 p.m. July 6, an employee of Dick’s Sporting Goods, 24545 Cedar Road at Legacy Village, reported that two suspects, a male and female, left the store with clothes they stole.The stolen merchandise totaled $630.At 11:20 a.m.
Officers brought the woman to the police station. She changed her story multiple times about what had happened in the CVS lot.
