Claire Anne, a self-proclaimed super scrimper, has found creative ways to save money by reusing mouthwash and dryer lint. She rinses her mouth with water before spitting the mouthwash into a separate bottle for later use, claiming her teeth have never looked better. She also collects dryer lint to clean surfaces and remove nail polish, reducing her reliance on paper towels and cotton wool balls.

“I rinse my mouth with water first. I am not bothered if there is some left-over spit in the mouthwash, it is my spit and my money, and my teeth have not looked better.” “My husband thinks it’s disgusting but admits my teeth look great and my breath is still minty fresh!Spurred on by her mouth wash money saving Claire also decided to cut back on cotton wool balls.“I tried it out and it worked so well, the lint’s clean and super absorbent and removes nail polish brilliantly," Claire explains.
They recommend it's used for insulation, spun into yarn to create clothes, as well as a type of stuffing for toys and pillows.
