A woman was trapped in her car following the collision
A woman was rushed to hospital this evening after a four-vehicle crash. Emergency services were called to Prescot Road, St Helens at around 5.27pm on Wednesday, November 13. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service service attended the scene to release a woman who was trapped in a vehicle. Firefighters removed the roof of the vehicle and paramedics used a neck brace to safely remove the woman from the car, who was taken to hospital.
33pm, with two fire engines and the search and rescue team in attendance. 'Crews arrived to find a four vehicle RTC with all vehicles on all four wheels. Five occupants of three of the vehicles were out on arrival of crews with no apparent injuries. The remaining vehicle had one occupant who was trapped in the vehicle as a result of the collision. 'Firefighters assessed the casualty and prepared the vehicle for roof removal while waiting for the arrival of North West Ambulance Service.
