The road was closed for two hours
A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash involving two cars near to an iconic Greater Manchester factory. Officers closed off Barton Dock Road, in Trafford Park, for around two hours following a crash near to the Kellogg's site.
Two casualties were checked over at the scene, including a woman who was taken to hospital by ambulance, while fire crews tackled in blaze in one of the cars. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At around 4pm this afternoon , firefighters were called to reports of a crash between two cars on Barton Dock Road in Stretford.
"Two fire engines from Stretford and Sale fire stations quickly attended the scene. Firefighters used a hose reel and other specialist equipment to extinguish a fire in one vehicle.
