Even with regular cleanings, floors quickly harbour dirt and dust, which can often mean that you have to change the mop's water multiple times in a single session. But one woman has shared a method that sees her have clean mop water on hand without making several trips to the sink.
The cleaning enthusiast, who posts tips on her TikTok page, shared a video of the savvy trick. Under the profile @samina_iltaf, she showed her 33.4k followers a wide Vileda bucket with a spin function that separates water from the mop. With one bucket, you usually have to dunk the mop back into the murky water that you just squeezed out. But instead, Samina placed a second bucket with clean water into the wider pail, keeping the dirty water away from the clean liquid.
