Speaking to the Record, Georgia said:"I moved into this flat about five and a half years ago and found a crawl space in the bathroom. I realised there must be space under that. "Around the same time we realised we could see a window from the outside and there was water running down from there. It had a curtain across it and it looked a bit creepy.
The truth behind the secret room threatened to fade into obscurity - until a glazier turned up last month, on the orders of the landlord, to replace the leaky window. A wall in Georgia's living room was knocked in and the room beyond was discovered.
