'The dogs were savaging the woman. I have never witnessed anything like it.'
A woman has been brutally attacked by two dogs which were said to be "in a frenzy" and "red with blood" as they tore at her clothes.
Local Kevin Cannon witnessed the horror attack, saying it began with an altercation between two dogs. He added: "I saw the two women in the street and I think there had been a fight. One of the women was covered in blood and the other woman was screaming 'help her'. A pair of slippers could be seen discarded inside the cordon. Forensic officers have also been pictured after arriving around 9.45am.
Mr Cannon, who called the emergency services, said he honked his car to try and scare the dogs away from the woman. He added one of the dogs came running over to him and he got back into his car.
