A car collided with a bus and a parked car before both cars caught fire
Emergency services were called to the smash involving three vehicles in Buxton Road, Disley , at about 3.45pm yesterday .
Police say a car collided with a bus and a parked car before the two cars caught fire. A gas main was also damaged in the incident.The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Buxton Road was closed between High Lane and New Mills for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene.A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 3.44pm on Tuesday 15 October police were called to a three vehicle collision in Buxton Road, Disley.
"Both cars then caught fire and a gas main was damaged in the collision. The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
