A woman has suffered serious injuries after she was stabbed outside a block of flats in Leeds where residents say they fear for the safety of their kids.
Residents, who wish to stay anonymous, have spoken of wider issue with drugs in the area which they say has led to more crime in the estate and left them fearing for their families. One woman said: "I've got three kids, three, five and eight, so it angers me to be honest. Police are here quite a lot and its always the same people. Seeing drug deals in the middle of the street every day infront of my kids is a joke.
Another said: "We get trouble on a regular basis now due to the amount of drug users housed in the flats. It's awful it used to be a lovely quiet area until the last few years, most neighbours on the street have had some kind of CCTV/ring doorbells fitted."
