As seen in this week’s Chagrin Falls police blotter, After refusing to exit an Uber driver’s car May 31, a Maple Heights woman received a ride to the police station.
An Uber driver took a Maple Heights woman, 69 to the police station 5 p.m. May 31 when she refused to leave the vehicle. She had multiple bags of luggage with her and was homeless. Officers contacted multiple resources to find shelter for her, but she declined all the options given to her. EMS responded to examine her. At the request of the doctor on call EMS transported her to a hospital for evaluation.Police responded to a call 12:36 p.m. May 28 to check on a man, 39, reported to be suicidal.
