The emergency services treated a woman in the road as a major Nottingham city centre road was closed following a crash. Police and paramedics were called to Huntingdon Street on Saturday morning, March 4, with a large police cordon being put in place.

A painter who was working nearby at the time, said he saw paramedics treating a woman in the road. Ben Packer, 42, said: "I didn't hear a smash or anything, I looked over and saw a lady in the middle of the road. He stated: "Someone was on a mobility scooter, I was here when the scooter was on the road and the person was in the middle of the road. "She looked unconscious. There were quite a lot of pieces of car in the road.Jake Boyle, a worker at Planet Bounce, said: "We didn't see the crash, just people's reaction to it. "There was a woman on the floor for a bit, I saw her in the road. She was just still and paramedics were trying to treat her.
