Police are investigating a sexual assault case involving a Massachusetts woman who woke up half-naked in a stranger's car in Providence, Rhode Island, with no recollection of how she got there. the 23-year-old victim had a swollen eye and scratches on her body when she reported the assault to police on Monday.
Police say the last thing she remembers was buying a drink at Club Ultra on Saturday night before waking up naked from the waist down in the back seat of a white sedan with no license plates. The police report states a young man approached the vehicle and told her she was in Providence. When the victim used his cellphone, she told police she found photos of herself unconscious that suggested she was sexually assaulted.
