Sumaiya Hussain wants to bring something different to the fitness industry
A woman realised she needed to make a change while watching YouTube. Sumaiya Hussain, 22, started Froppy earlier this year with her business partner Huu Loc Nguyen. The business aims to bring “fun, motivation and cuteness” to people wanting to improve their fitness, with a friendly frog as its main logo. Froppy also offers advice on building healthy routines, food recipes and mediation exercises.
I want to make it really comfortable for people who are just starting their fitness journey. “We're planning to host monthly pop up events for now and then get a studio. The monthly pop up events will be in a cafe. And the catch with that is if you come to a pop up event, you actually get a free drink. Maybe that will open more doors for them to have their whole fitness.” “I want to make a cosy and comfortable atmosphere for people to come in. It doesn't need to be intense for you.
