BREAKING: Woman jailed for 8 years for killing boxer boyfriend
A woman who killed her abusive boyfriend has been sent to prison for eight years.
She stabbed him once through the heart but had claimed she acted in self-defence at her home in Burton-on-Trent on July 25 last year. They said: ‘We feel that had this been my son standing in the dock, the court and society would be judging it differently.‘If you choose to pick up a knife then you have already made up your mind to cause serious harm, even death to that person.‘One day, she will walk free and will continue with her life. My son will not. His three young children will never have their daddy to look up to and share their lives.
