Woman who thinks she's Madeleine McCann to have DNA matched against missing child
The DNA of a woman who believes she is Madeleine McCann is being compared to that of the British youngster who vanished on holiday in Portugal in 2007. The private investigator helping Julie Wendell says the 21-year-old is currently waiting for the test results from three samples as well as a genetic test.
She said: "A lot of you ask why Kate and Gerry . There is no need - Madeleine McCann's DNA is already there. They don't need to get involved with media press. Julia has been in the United States - reportedly staying with Dr Johansson - for the last few weeks while the DNA tests were carried out. During the testing, where her blood was also looked into, doctors found worrying signs that she could actually have Leukaemia.
