Cornelia Bayley was left stunned after confessing she'd never washed her bedding or mattress before - with the former antique dealer admitting she 'couldn't care less'
Most people tend to wash their sheets at least twice a month, but for Cornelia Bayley, the situation was rather unique her bedding, reported to be a century old, had apparently never seen a washing machine. The Mirror recounted how her abode became the centrepiece of a 2013 episode of Channel 4's "Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners", which the hosts deemed their "greatest challenge yet".
Hayley and Dann were taken aback when they discovered not only the age of Cornelia's bedding and mattress but also that it had never been laundered. A shocked Hayley inquired, "Cornelia, when was the bedding last washed," and the startling answer she received was "never".To add to the demands, Cornelia imposed one significant limitation on the duo no cleaning products were allowed, only water and a sponge could be used.
