The Biden administration's recently finalized updates to Title IX will erase advancements biological women have achieved in today's society through its broad interpretation of 'sex,' conservative legal experts say. 'It's absolutely a fantastical upending of our system of constitutional protection,' Sarah Parshall Perry, a senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, told Fox News Digital. 'Not a lot of people are recognizing all of the permutations.
' Shapiro said these changes play into the idea that they're more than a battle over bathroom access. 'They see this as kind of the next front in civil rights battles and the arc of progressive history bending in this direction and those kinds of ideological commitments,' he said. But teachers unions like the American Federation of Teachers say the changes keep students and educators safe and ensure they're treated with respect.
