World Cup winner Maria Perez signs for London City Lionesses from Barcelona for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.
Maria Perez's only appearance in Spain's 2023 World Cup win came from the bench in a 5-1 victory over Switzerland in the last 16Spain and Barcelona midfielder Maria Perez has become the latest high-profile player to sign for Women's Championship side London City Lionesses.
London City's latest recruit follows the arrival this summer of England forward Izzy Goodwin and Sweden internationals Kosovare Asllani and Sofia Jakobsson. Precheur described Perez as a "complete player" who is "smart, technically gifted" and "perfectly adapted to our project".
