The 2022 advertisement was filmed at Bethel Park High School and featured Thomas Matthew Crooks along with several other unpaid students in the background.
"As our leadership team communicated to colleagues last night, BlackRock strongly condemns political violence of any kind and will do our part to promote civility and unity in the country," the company continued.
Law enforcement officials were working Sunday to learn more about Crooks to determine what motivated him to open fire on the rally from a nearby rooftop, killing one spectator, before he was shot dead by the Secret Service. Bomb-making materials were found inside Crooks' vehicle near the Trump rally and at his home, according to two officials who were not authorized to speak publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
