WFAA got a look at the rings and its details. Here is a look
The Rangers players, coaches, and on-field support staff of the 2023 World Series Champions will receive their rings before Saturday's game against the Chicago Cubs.The World Series championship rings will be unveiled before Saturday's game in a ceremony starting at 5:15 p.m. : "There was a lot of pressure when designing this ring, not just because it was a first for the Rangers, but because it is also our very first World Series Ring.
The rings include 103 blue sapphires for their 103 wins, 16 emerald cut diamonds for 16 consecutive games the Rangers homered in, 52 points of diamonds in the word"champions" representing the 52-season history, 23 red rubies for the year they won the title, 11 stones in the 'T' for the record of postseason road wins, another 30 stones in the first circle for the home runs hit in the postseason.
The ring also has a removeable top and inside there is an homage to their MLB-record 11-straight postseason road wins. The championship ring ceremony will also be televised during Bally Sports Southwest's special 90-minute pregame show beginning at 4:30 p.m.WFAA would like to send you push notifications about the latest news and weather.
