How much are the Guardians will to give up for a starting pitcher?
The Guardians need starting pitching. Do you think they would ever consider bringing Cal Quantrill back before the trade deadline?and I doubt he’s coming back. Why would the Rockies trade a player who has shown he can pitch and win at Coors Field? Plus they have one more year of control over him.
For a while there wasn’t much player movement, especially among the position players, because of the Guardians’ success. This month the promotions have increased, especially among power hitters such as Johnathan Rodriguez and Jhonkensy Noel. I’m not sure you would have seen that in past seasons.Is this a new philosophy of the Guardians to tinker so much with the roster lately? It seems like a move or two is happening weekly.I think it’s just the flow of the season.
