James McClean’s latest social media activity has got fans talking.
McClean’s teammate, William Boyle, took to Instagram to announce that he had applied to be on the Professional Football er’s Association players’ board.
“I have utilised the PFA's various services throughout my career to date. These opportunities have allowed me to step out of the football bubble that I often find myself in and provided me with a different perspective.defender continued: “I want to help the PFA continue to improve and push forward, by listening to and working with as many members as possible.”
Reacting on social media, one fan said: “A unique pitch from James McClean to get Will Boyle onto the PFA players’ board.”McClean was handed the captain’s armband for the 24/25 season, speaking about the responsibility of the role, he said: “To be trusted with that role, for me, my motto has always been to work as hard as I can each day and never get out-worked.
