A WWE legend and former champion, 44, has teased the conditions required for a wrestling return and confirmed he 'never retired'.
Wade Barrett hasn’t closed the door on a wrestling comeback WWE superstar Wade Barrett confirmed he ‘never retired’ from wrestling and could still wrestle one more match. The 44-year-old star, who is currently a commentator on Monday Night Raw alongside Joe Tessitore, hasn’t wrestled since he and Sheamus lost to The New Day on Raw in April 2016.
‘That guy, he is just nonstop and it’s not just the in-ring stuff, it’s the promotional work behind the scenes. It’s the media work. It’s doing all the charity stuff he does, doing the stuff with the Wheatley Vodka. ‘Then on top of that, he’s got a great family at home he’s got a look after too. You couldn’t pay me to take that kind of schedule right now, but a one-off short run here or there, if it made sense, I’d always be open to that conversation.
