Update: Microsoft's investigation into the Xbox 360 profile issue is still ongoing, but it has been confirmed that the majority of affected games should now be fixed.
and elsewhere that their Xbox 360 achievements have gone missing and are no longer displaying when looking at their profiles on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, the Xbox app, and Xbox.com. However, they are still showing when viewing an achievement list on an Xbox 360 and here on TrueAcheivements. While that does sound pretty alarming, there's no need for panic — the missing achievements are still unlocked and attached to your profile, and your overall Gamerscore isn't affected.
This outage appears to be affecting only some Xbox 360 games, so we can't say for sure which games will be missing from your Xbox profile. On mine, for example, I can no longer see my Dragon Age II progress, but I can still see the lists of several other Xbox 360 titles that I've started recently, including Dragon Age: Origins. If you know what games you're missing, let us know down in the comments.
This is likely only a temporary outage, and we expect Microsoft will fix whatever the issue is soon. We'll update you as soon as we find out more., which left many having to repeat unlock conditions after the outage was finished to get some achievements to pop.
