UPDATE: Xbox is now sending players free game codes to players who attempted to play two The Walking Dead games with PC Game Pass, which were missing episodes.
Xbox is now sending players free Xbox PC game codes for The Walking Dead: Michonne and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier to those who attempted to play the games while they were included with PC Game Pass.
If you tried playing either The Walking Dead: Michonne or The Walking Dead: A New Frontier with PC Game Pass, check your inbox on the Xbox app or on your console, as you may have a nice surprise waiting for you. A message sent out to players from Xbox reads:"Thank you for trying The Walking Dead: A New Frontier via PC Game Pass. We apologise for the episodes not being fully available at launch. Below please find a code for the full game + DLC.
Those who played The Walking Dead: Michonne have also received a similar message with a code. At the moment, we are unsure if the games will return to PC Game Pass. We'll update you as soon as we find out more.Microsoft has now acknowledged the issues with PC Game Pass versions of The Walking Dead: Michonne and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.
"We are aware of issues with The Walking Dead: Michonne and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and have removed them from the PC platform while we investigate." Unfortunately, Microsoft has not said when these games will return to PC Game Pass. As soon as we hear more, we'll update you.. Now, it appears both games have been removed from the subscription service.
