XDefiant closed beta connection woes see console players struggle to play
, and is running until the end of this one – but due to connection issues with the game’s servers, many players were finding themselves struggling to get on the beta. While Ubisoft did of course tackle these connection issues as best they could with a series of patches on PC, console players had to wait a little longer.shows a number of issues the team are working on – with the connection issues being a main priority.
“We know this is disappointing news for console players,” they tweeted. “However, this patch should provide a much better experience for everyone when deployed!” To make up for the lack of access,The patch arrived on PlayStation consoles by Sunday evening,. However, as of the time of writing the Xbox version of the beta is still unplayable. “We are still working to patch Xbox Series X|S as soon as we can. Xbox servers will still be disabled and show a VICTOR error message.
Of course it’s important to stress that, as a beta, technical issues are to be expected but at the time of writing Ubisoft has not declared if it’ll be extending the beta to account for the missed time on Xbox. It’s also worth noting that Ubisoft is
