The attack happened on a residential street in Bootle Police have arrested two people after an eight-year-old boy suffered ‘serious’ head injuries from a suspected XL bully attack. Officers were called to Wadham Road, Bootle, around 5.20pm last night where they discovered a boy with head injuries from a dog. He was taken to hospital and remains in a serious ‘but stable’ condition, Merseyside Police said. The dog in question, which is believed to be an XL bully breed, has been seized by police.
