The Yankees shut out the Rockies 3-0 on Friday night at Yankee Stadium.
Yankees center fielder Aaron Judge took a victory lap from one end of the dugout to the other after hitting his 49th home run in the sixth inning of Friday night's win over the Rockies.
Other than DJ LeMahieu not playing after being clocked in the face with a throw during batting practice and Clay Holmes getting some boos after walking the leadoff hitter in the ninth, the Yankees had a great Friday night. Carlos Rodon rebounded by a clunker to toss six shutout innings, Giancarlo Stanton homered for the second day in a row and Jazz Chisholm played third base after just a 10-day stay on the injured list in a 3-0 Yankees blanking of Rockies that ended with Holmes retiring three in a row after the leadoff base on balls.
