“I think it’s just seeing more pitches,” Davis said. “When you start and stop so many times, the first three, four games you come back you try to get your timing back. You try to find your balance. “They’re always on ESPN,” Davis said. “You always see them hitting a home run or doing something good. I’m excited to come over there and learn from those two and how they carry themselves on and off the field, how their routines are in the cages, who their mental approach is during hitters meetings. I’m excited to see what they bring. Obviously, I know what they bring. I’m just trying to see what I can learn from them.
“My time over here was hindered with the injury that I had , with the surgery, and with so many moving parts, so many GMs, so many managers, so many different opinions on what core group we should stick with. I think it was just a business decision to let me go and I went over to San Fran.”
