He was just named to the All-Star team for the fourth time in his career and is also a four-time Silver Slugger, one-time batting champ, and a World Series champion from his time with the Washington Nationals in 2019.
'I think just the only teams bidding for him will be the Yankees and the Mets. I don't see him going anywhere else — more east coast,' Nightengale said. 'I don't see the Dodgers jumping into that sweepstakes. They just paid $700 million for Ohtani, $325 million for Yamamoto. So I don't see him doing that at all.
