The Met Office has put four yellow weather warnings in place across the UK as the miserable start to the new year continues 😖
Four weather warnings remain in place across the UK for today while wet weather continues through the start of January.
There are two yellow warnings for rain in north-west England and the east of Wales from 6am until 8pm. There is also a yellow warning in west Wales lasting until 10am, and another in central Scotland until 7pm.warned ‘persistent heavy rain may lead to some disruption on Tuesday’, suggesting flooding is likely and journeys by road may be delayed.Some 29 flood warnings and 90 flood alerts are also in place across England today, with an additional 20 flood alerts in Wales.
