Christina Ricci, who plays adult Misty Quigley in Yellowjackets, gives an update about Season 3's filming and teases a 'brutal' next chapter.
“This season is going to be even more shocking and surprising than the previous seasons,” Ricci said. “It’s definitely going to be brutal. But they also put a lot of comedy into it. So I think it’s just going to be… extremely Yellowjackets-y.”
Plot details for Yellowjackets Season 3 remain under wraps at this time. Ricci isn’t even totally sure what will happen to her character, Misty Quigley, in the third season, as she says the cast isn’t “always privy to that stuff.” She continued, “We tend to find out just a bit later than I think people would imagine. But it’s the nature of TV, and it’s just the nature of this show in particular.
Regarding Juliette Lewis’ character’s death during the Yellowjackets Season 2 finale, Ricci noted that filming the new season is “sad without Juliette.” When asked if she thinks Misty will be able to forgive herself for Natalie’s death, Ricci answered, “I do.
