Series co-creator Ashley Lyle shared a brand new update about the current status of Yellowjackets Season 3.

Lyle teased that fans should expect to see a bit of similarity between Yellowjackets Season 3 and the first installment in terms of its vibe. In addition, Misty actor Samantha Hanratty also recently confirmed that the main cast are doing contract “renegotiations right now” with the network. “We’re in the midst of right now. I don’t want to give too much away. I always get in trouble,” she said. “I will say we see Season 3 as a little bit of a return to Season 1 in terms of the vibe, though. All I will say is that the girls have been out there for awhile and they’re thriving.
Yellowjackets is created and executive produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. It stars Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Steven Krueger, and Warren Kole. Season 2 also featured the introduction of Lauren Ambrose as adult Van Palmer, Simone Kessell as adult Lottie, and Elijah Wood as citizen detective Walter.
