Ramadani has enjoyed a stunning start to life in Italy but things look set to go up another gear for the Albania star.
Ylber Ramadani's impressive start to life in Serie A could propel him into dreamland as he let slip he's held talks over a move to Inter.
The Albania midfielder only joined Lecce in the summer in a £1.1m move from Aberdeen but he's fit into their midfield like a glove. Ramadani has been an ever-present, starting every game so far and quickly establishing himself as a key player in southern Italy. The Dons are due 10 per cent of any future sale and reports suggesting Inter are already keen on signing the 27-year-old raised a few eyebrows.
But now it's more than just paper talk as Ramadani has revealed he has personally held talks with Inter's sports director Piero Ausilio. He said: "He was in Tirana, I met Ausilio, and we stayed for a long time talking. For me it’s a very big motivation, I can’t stop working to go to Inter. I would adapt very quickly there. My international teammate Kristjan Asllani is there.
"He is more technical than me, but I do other things. I can play with one or two central midfielders, no problem." Ramadani made 37 out of 38 league starts for Aberdeen last season and has been a real dynamic force for Lecce this season. And he could be set to land the Pittodrie side a further windfall if he completes his dream move to Inter Milan.
